This is the fourth announced 2-pack from a Star Trek Movie, This figure set is slated to be the first release in 2009. These figures depict Christopher Lloyd as Commander Kruge and John Larroquette as Maltz in "The Search For Spock."
This two pack came as a suprise to collectors. No mention of it was released before the images popped up online in 2008. In the middle of January the set was cancelled for the time being.

When the Genesis Planet was created, The Klingon Empire found that power to be a threat. Kruge annd his crew intercepted the Enterprise at the Genesis Planet and ultimately lead to the destruction of the Enterprise.
The likeness of these figures is absolutly AMAZING....both of them are dead on for their characters.
Kruge had made his figure appearence with Playmates, but this likeness is a lot better. Maltz has never had a figure produced.

These are the two ships shown at various comic cons and other conventions of the two ships slated for release from The Search For Spock", The first being the U.S.S. Excelsior and the other is a Klingon Bird Of Prey

"The Great Experiment" was supposed to have Transwarp Drive, but Scotty disabled the Excelsior, to allow Kirk and party to steal the Enterprise.
This was also shown at Toy Fair 2009, This will be the first accurate electronic version of the U.S.S. Excelsior to be released. This is a very good likeness.

After the launch of the Enterprise-B, they picked up a distress signal which lead to the death of Captain Kirk, who was a passenger on board.
This was shown at Toy Fair 2009, much to the suprise of collectors. This looks like an awesome version that isn't slated for release for a long while.
