Transporter Series
Wave 1
Asst. No 65400
(Late June - 1998)

"Beam me up, Scotty!"
Because Consititution Class starships are incapable of landing on the surface of a planet, the transporter is used to move people and supplies between ship and surface. The transporter locks on to the beaming subject, converts the subject into energy, beams that energy to the target location, then reassembles the subject into original form.

Playmates introduced an exciting, and very successful, Transporter series of figures in 1998.  The transporter "effect" is achieved by pressing a button on the base which triggers a short transporter sound and lights the base up.  The figures are translucent up to about elbow height which allows the light from the base to travel up the figure.

Two replaceable AAA batteries included.  Figures are shown along side original packaging.
