Star Trek figures were produced from 1975-1977.  According to John Bonavita's "Mego Action Figure Toys", Kirk, Spock, and Klingon were re-released in 1979 with blank, white card backs.

The back of this series pictured the Enterprise playset and communicators.

51210 Starship Enterprise
This play case is an authentic replica of the flight deck of the Starship U.S.S. Enterprise.  Includes sick bay for Dr. Bones McCoy, Capt's chair and navigation console.  Watch the magical action of the Transporter Room.  Spin the dial, press a button.  Any Star Trek action figure appears and disappears at the touch of a finger.  Includes 6 scenes for the telescreen for complete authenticity.  Folds for easy carrying with fully washable vinyl surfaces.  Blast off for the unknown reaches of space with this toy of limitless imagination.

51214 Star Trek Communicators
Now, you can join the Starfleet Command with Mego's Star Trek Communicators.   Just like the devices used by Capt. James Kirk, Mr. Spock, and the crew of the Enterprise.  Powerful seven transistor walkie-talkie communicators send and receive authentic Star Trek twin warp sound, and voice messages up to 1/4 mile.  Beautiful styling with telescoping antenna.  Case is two-tone blue with silver and black Starfleet insignia.  Work on nine-volt battery.

The next series of Star Trek Megos were the aliens Cheron (pictured right), Keeper, Gorn, and Neptunian.

This figure is based on the race of people introduced in the classic Star Trek episode "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield".

Although named "Keeper", this figure's face resembles the false image of Balok from the classic Star Trek episode "The Corbomite Maneuver". mego keeper.JPG (15341 bytes)
The "Neptunian" figure was purely a Mego creation.  There was an animated Star Trek episode that featured some aquatic aliens, but none of them looked much like Neptunian. mego neptunian.JPG (22652 bytes)
The Mego "Gorn" doesn't look much like the alien pictured in the classic Star Trek episode "Arena".  I think he looks more like the Lizard figure from Mego's World Greatest Super Heroes line.  Mego apparently decided a brown version of the Lizard dressed up as a Klingon would be close enough.

Red phaser and communicator.

The last series of classic Star Trek figures included the Romulan, Talos, Megato, and Andorian.

The Romulan is consider the rarest of all of the Star Trek figures.  He comes equipped with a red phaser, communicator, and gold helmet.

Andorian

The Mugato is based on the white ape alien from the classic Star Trek episode "A Private Little War".  The head sculpt is a fair likeness, but the clothes were invented by Mego.
Talos was inspired by the Talosian aliens from original pilot "The Cage" and classic Star Trek episode "The Menagerie, Parts I and II".
The back of the first series of aliens (Cheron's cardback pictured) illustrated 8 action figures, the U.S.S. Enterprise playset, tricorder, tribble, Mission to Gamma VI, Phaser Battle Game, Phaser Gun Game, Command Communication Console, and communicators. mego cheron cardback.JPG (119019 bytes)
