Records recovered from the wreckage of the U.S.S. Raven NAR-32450 contained extensive information about the early life of Voyager crewmember Seven of Nine.

On Stardate 32611.4, the Federation Council on Exobiology granted approval for exobiologists Magnus and Erin Hansen, on board the Raven with their daughter Annika, to pursue their theories about the Borg. Eight months later, the Hansens found a Borg cube in a transwarp conduit and followed it to the Delta Quadrant. After three years of undetected observation, the Raven was hit by a particle storm which exposed it to Borg sensors. The ship crashed on a planet, and Magnus, Erin and Ammika Hansen were assimilated into the Borg collective.

Fifteen years later, the Borg drone Seven of Nine found herself cut off from the collective, the sole survivor when her hive tried to assimilate the Voyager crew. Starfleet records revealed that she was the long-lost Annika Hansen.
