This Assortment was originally to Include Uhura, Q from "Deja Q", Captain Jean-Luc Picard as Locutus, and Khan from "Space Speed". When the Star Trek Fan Club didn't pursue Pike and Sisko for exclusives, which was rumored for about a year, they became part of this assortment, since the sculpting had already been done. It was done so Playmates would not have to make a new mold for Locutus and Khan, since they had already had Sisko and Pike. As with all 12" Figures, the History of Star Trek, came on the back of the box.
Each Case was packed with 8 Figures, 2 of Each.

Wormhole Edition The Likeness on this figure was not spectacular, like all previous 12" Figures, in fact it was awful. The eyebrows and goatee are done incorrectly, and the shape of his head isn't as accurate as it could be. However the packaging was well liked by collectors. |

Classic Edition Variation & Error: Uhura features a Plastic Insignia Piece on her Chest, this did not happen in the Original Series, however. In TOS, it was an Embroidered Type Insignia, like all previous TOS Figures have featured, the plastic clip on piece would have been much more appreciated on TNG, DS9, and VOY figures. It appears they did this because they would have put had to embroider over a seam on her chest. The error is her packaging does not identify her as being part of The Women of Star Trek Edition of Figures. |
